Who are we?
We’re the ones behind the lens, holding the mic, shaping the narrative.
We are a collective of filmmakers, photographers, artists, and storytellers from Diaspora communities, reclaiming our own narratives. We are not defined by labels like refugee, migrant, or asylum seeker... we are creatives, changemakers, and cultural contributors.
RAAH supports creatives navigating documentation and asylum challenges, offering a platform to create, express, and thrive. We don’t just appear in front of the camera, we own the lens, the narrative, and the vision.
Operating as a charity in Gozo & Malta and a social enterprise in the UK, we fuse purpose with creative excellence. In the UK, we generate income through client work: producing films, photography and branding - while building our community’s portfolios and reinvesting profits into our projects and people.
